Doors are hinged with latches so getting in and out of the cab is easy and quick. Hard top cab enclosure fits John Deere LX280 LX289 GT225 GT235 GT245 GX255 part number brand original tractor cab new hard top cab enclosure that will fit the LX280, LX289, GT225, GT235, GT245 and GX255 lawn and garden tractors. The box was damaged in shipping and some of the parts were loose in the box they could have been better secured but all the parts were there in the end. Forward inclination of the windshield minimizes glare and contact with falling snow and rain.

I plan to leave the hard top on for the summer to give protection from the sun. It is made in the USA. Installation time will take roughly three to four hours.

It is manufactured by one of the leading aftermarket cab, canopy and sunshade manufacturers. The glass wind shield and manual wiper were a positive addition to the cab itself.

Only issue I had was that a support rod was packed on top of windshield and left a major mark in it. On cottage owner this has been a heavy snow winter even for a major snow belt area of Canada and I bought the snow cab to not become like a snowman each time I had to blow the snow sometimes twice a day. Assembly was not easy and took a long time 6 hours.

Nicely engineered and fits beautifully. Very happy with the quality of the materials and the instructions for assembly. Clear shatter resistant Lean plastic is used in the rear curtain, side doors and the windshield for maximum visibility. It carries a one year warranty.

Delivery of the cab was very efficient. On it seals up well and the green top looks sharp. Took about 3 hours to install.

I would recommend this product to anyone needing protection from blowing snow. The Lean windshield can easily be replaced with the optional safety glass windshield, which is available for purchase separately. Reviewed by dont downer from midland, Ontario Canada. When fully assembled, the cab makes a very snug place from which to operate the tractor.

This hard top cab enclosure is not a genuine Deere item. The manual was good but could be more detailed.
